Hola! We are Jose and Dani and we are the two minds behind Sierra Negra Coffee, a micro roastery in Austin, TX.

We started simply as coffee lovers, always curious to learn more about what goes into every cup. That curiosity took us to the Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston, where we were blown away by the energy, knowledge, and openness of the global coffee community.

Not long after, a trip to the Galápagos Islands introduced us to a farmer whose dedication to his craft was truly inspiring. In that moment it clicked: We realized we wanted to do more than just drink great coffee — we wanted to share it.

We started Sierra Negra Coffee to become a part of this incredible community while doing what we love most. We import Ecuador’s finest specialty coffee while supporting small farmers and celebrating the people and places that make it possible.
